Deliveries are made every day of the week depending on the product & availability. To ensure delivery when you absolutely need it, call with as much advance notice (a week or more if possible) as you are able.
Products can be ordered in any quantity. Less than full loads will be charged a full load delivery price, plus material.
Our trucks can haul 23 – 25 tons for a full load. Some products are figured by the yard which can be 16 to 20 yards for most aggregate products, but more bulky, lightweight material can get up to 40 yards or more. In these cases we can accommodate up to 50 yards. Spring road postings/ weight restricted roads and no truck routes will not allow us to carry full loads.
It depends on the size and product type. Average for Fieldstone is as follows:
- 12 – 18”: 180 – 240
- 18 – 24”: 85 – 120
- 24 – 30”: 50 – 60
- 30 – 36”: 35 – 45
- 36 – 48”: 25 – 35
Most decorative rock, sand and gravel (one ton) will cover approx. 100 sq. ft. at a 2” depth and 70 – 75sq. ft. at a 3” depth.
Mulch & Black Dirt: One yard 80 – 90 sq. ft. at a 3- 4” depth.
Boulders and Rip Rap:
- 6 – 18”: 12 – 15 sq. ft. /ton
- 18 – 24”: 7 – 10 sq. ft. /ton
- 24”+: 5 – 7 sq. ft. /ton
